How to install clip-in extensions?
Lay out your extensions, or “wefts”, on a flat surface, grouping together like sizes. Part your hair wherever you would normally. Section hair perpendicularly from your part down to you ear. Use a hair clip to hold the section in place. Repeat above on the opposite side of your head. At the back of your head, section off the bottom inch of hair and clip up the rest of your hair.
After this step, you can either (a) back comb or (b) tie a two-strand knot with your own hair at the roots.Select the weft of hair that will best fit the section, making sure to leave a half-inch to one inch of your own hair out around the perimeter to ensure a natural blend.
You will continue to do this for each section. Make sure to space the clips an inch to two inches apart as you move up. Open the clips and secure the weft clip on top of the section and snap close. Once the clips are snapped closed, the prongs should be facing down. If your hair is parted on the side, create the next section toward the side with the most hair - not directly in the middle of your head. If your hair is parted in the centre, you can continue placing the wefts at the centre of your head.
